Competition Rules

Competition Rules
  • The competition will be run on a Knockout basis and under the W.B.B. rules.
  • The ties will be played on Thursday evenings in July with the Final on the second Sunday in August with a 2.00p.m. start. It is an individual toss.
  • The home team (team first on the draw sheet) are asked to arrange umpires and markers.
  • The competition will be a team contest, the determined by the highest number of points, two points for a win and one for a draw. Then shots.
  • If at the end of the game, teams are equal in points and shots the winner of the senior single will determine the winning team.
  • In the event of a team being unable to field a player/players, the opposing team will be awarded 2 points and 8 shots.
Local Conditions
  • If the tie is cancelled due to the weather and green unplayable clubs should rearrange the tie before the next round. Also inform the committee of this arrangement.
  • Teams are free to substitute players prior to the arranged tie.
  • All results of matches should be phoned/emailed to a committee member as soon as possible.
  • "The Final" Each club will host a final and then go to the bottom of the list.

Committee Changes for 2025

We would like to thank Mr P. Martin for his dedicated service to the committee over the years. Mr Martin is standing down from his role, and we are grateful for his contributions to the City of Stirling Top Fifteen Group.
